Simon Verhoeven

started to study film directing and scriptwriting at the Tisch School of Arts at the New York University in 1995.
As an actor he took part in over 50 films, working with directors such as Bruce Beresford, Sönke Wortmann, Doris Dörrie and Roland Suso Richter.
His latest work, "Men in the City" and „Men in the City 2“ (with Nadja Uhl, Til Schweiger, Christian Ulmen) were each seen by over three million people and heading the German cinema-charts for one month. Moreover Verhoeven won several awards with these two movies including the Bavarian film-award, the German film-award, the Jupiter and the Bambi.
